How To Remove Blackheads Naturally

Have you tried everything or almost everything to eliminate those blackheads that spoil your face? No need to look any further, we have THE solution to get rid of them for good. The trick is simple, just follow these 3 steps.

A black dot: what is it?
Blackheads are a typical problem of oily skin. They appear when the pores are blocked (poor skin hygiene, temperature changes). In fact, air oxidizes the upper layer of the skin (composed of thousands of pores), causing this black coloration. Each pore houses a hair follicle and a sebaceous gland (the hair is invisible to the naked eye) and this same pore allows the evacuation of sebum, the famous “oil” produced naturally by the skin. In the case of poor hygiene, sebum production will increase, which will contribute to the formation of unsightly blackheads.

Where are the blackheads?
In general, blackheads are located on the nose, chin, and forehead. There are many tricks to eliminate them naturally. But sometimes, some cosmetic products that are supposed to eliminate them only multiply them!

Here is a three-step method to get rid of blackheads:

Step 1
As a first step, take a steam bath to your face, an important prerequisite for a good scrub. Under the effect of the steam, the skin will sweat and release accumulated toxins. The pores will dilate, your skin will be better prepared to receive the care provided and blackheads will be eliminated more easily.

How to proceed? Boil a large pot of water and then add a pinch of thyme or a few drops of thyme essential oil. Place your face over the pan, covering your head with a towel. The heat must be bearable, so if the water is too hot, move your face away for a few minutes. You should remain in this position for 10 to 20 minutes.

Step 2
Mix 1 tablespoon of baking soda, 2 teaspoons of the sea or Himalayan salt and 1 tablespoon of organic honey to make a homogeneous paste. Then apply this mixture to the face by making light circular massages for two minutes, like any other scrub. Leave it on for 5 minutes then rinse your face with clear water.

Honey is a powerful antibacterial that will purify the skin while moisturizing it, baking soda softens it, and salt has an exfoliating and cleansing effect.

Step 3
After drying your face, take a slice of lemon to rub your nose (the nose is the greasiest area of the face but you can rub other areas such as the chin or forehead). Then cover your face with a layer of egg white (cover the nose with absorbent paper immediately afterward).
Keep this mixture for 20 minutes (avoid exposure to the sun as lemon is a photo-sensitizer). Rinse your face with clear water. This treatment will facilitate their elimination (you can then extract the blackheads with a tissue).
